Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience was convinced that Daniel Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eufrasio Vall was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Frederico Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eufrasio Vall saved Mariolo from getting behind. Eufrasio Vall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 12th minute of play. Lartaun Carrandi charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lartaun Carrandi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Mariolo getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Lartaun Carrandi hit a great ball. Mariolo's Eufrasio Vall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 20th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Zorita in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eufrasio Vall prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Primitivo Andino made in the 39th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Cristian Sancho immediately put the ball in play. Mariolo's Eufrasio Vall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 40th minute of play. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frederico Barros to strike the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frederico Barros's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Mariolo's Frederico Barros. But to his dismay, Frederico Barros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Mariolo's Eufrasio Vall proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Mariolo from getting a goal against them. When Mariolo's Frederico Barros in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frederico Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mariolo! The excitement rose when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita after 70 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Mariolo's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 2-1. In the 73rd minute of the game Primitivo Andino made a throw-in which Agustín Saelices played forward. When Mariolo's Frederico Barros in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frederico Barros in the 79th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Eufrasio Vall in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 91 minutes in the game Primitivo Andino did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Agustín Saelices. 93 minutes into the match, Mariolo's goalkeeper Eufrasio Vall had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. The supporters of Mariolo booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball.
