Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ionel Martinaș kicked off to start the match. Hugo Ferrant hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Valeriu Floricel came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa. But to his dismay, Eliseo Noboa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Lautaro Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Valeriu Floricel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Tasis's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Manuel Marghescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paralia Athens's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Costa Rica the free kick. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Paralia Athens was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Marghescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Axel Tasis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute, Valeriu Floricel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A sloppy throw-in by Hugo Ferrant in the 24th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Paralia Athens's Ilie Tudoran. Petre Maghiran charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Petre Maghiran the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Efrain Moruga's late challenge caught a Paralia Athens's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Efrain Moruga helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Efrain Moruga hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the game, Iordache Ţugui was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paralia Athens's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Costa Rica the free kick. After a rather tough play, Paralia Athens's Iordache Ţugui got a free kick in the 31st minute. After having played for 32 minutes, Eliseo Noboa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseo Noboa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Axel Tasis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 37thth minute, Valeriu Floricel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Valeriu Floricel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Alcocer, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Valeriu Floricel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Puig in the 40th minute. Axel Tasiss short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Valeriu Floricel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Axel Tasis made the kick off in the second half. Valeriu Floricel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Tasis's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. After 62 minutes of play, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valeriu Floricel was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 67 played minutes Paralia Athens got a freekick which was hit by Ilie Tudoran. Juan Rubio kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Lautaro Puig notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Paralia Athens's Valeriu Floricel. Valeriu Floricel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Valeriu Floricel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alan Moruga went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. After 82 minutes of play Paralia Athens's Petre Maghiran was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 82nd minute, Petre Maghiran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eliseo Noboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Valeriu Floricel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ionel Martinaș kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Costa Rica's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
