Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jimmi Vedernes kicked off to start the match. In the 10th minute, Venezuela's Patricio Costa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kenny Sandberg. Kenny Sandberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 13th minute, Heine Dotte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the match, Injuries's goalkeeper Kenny Sandberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. The throw-in from Camilo Gaos in the 19th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Injuries's Micki Flodman. After 21 minutes of play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kenny Sandberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Heine Dotte made in the 26th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Erling Bøgeskov however managed to control. When Jimmi Vedernes came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Injuries fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jimmi Vedernes couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 30th minute. If Jimmi Vedernes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Patricio Costa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kenny Sandberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimmi Vedernes in the 36th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Injuries's goalkeeper Kenny Sandberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Illescas. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Salvador Gisbert during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 46 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Gisbert. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kenny Sandberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 55th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenny Sandberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Injuries's Kenny Sandberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 60th minute of play. Tomas Illescas took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kenny Sandberg. Kenny Sandberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 65th minute of the match Jose Correa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kenny Sandberg skillfully saved the ball. After 66 minutes, Jimmi Vedernes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Injuries and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kenny Sandberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Illescas went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Tomas Illescas scored 6-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kenny Sandberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 84th minute of play forced Injuries's goalkeeper Kenny Sandberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Illescas kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After a long run with the ball, Guillermo Mariano did a trick in the 87th minute in front of Injuries's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 7-0. An impressive performance by Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano! Kenny Sandberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joshua Secada in the 91st minute of play forced Injuries's goalkeeper Kenny Sandberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Patricio Costa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kenny Sandberg. Injuries's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Patricio Costa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0.
