After 2 played minutes Bucaspor got a freekick which was hit by Ender Torcan. A collision led to Bucaspor getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Ender Torcan hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Bucaspor's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. 25 minutes into the match, Bucaspor's Gregorie Lievens sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nando Muslera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. When Bucaspor's Gregorie Lievens in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. 35 minutes into the match, Bucaspor's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Nando Muslera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nando Muslera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Bucaspor getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Gregorie Lievens hit a great ball. The supporters of Bucaspor booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gregorie Lievens stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hüsmen Emekli kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Bucaspor's Rahman Altıparmak got a free kick in the 78th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Gregorie Lievens came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 83rd minute, which Nando Muslera however easily saved by the left post. Eligijus Abakevičius kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregorie Lievens in the 88th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the game, Felix Montenegro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bucaspor the free kick. Felix Montenegro hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Ecuador were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Bucaspor to leave the ground with a draw.
