After a rather tough play, Vitória StrikerS™'s Xie Ying Cheng got a free kick in the 8th minute. The audience was convinced that Ayberk Akgün's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rosendo Oinatz was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Rosendo Oinatz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ayberk Akgün went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Vitória StrikerS™'s Avery Novak got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 21st minute Ayberk Akgün shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Oinatz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kyle Robinson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogério Vidal in the 23rd minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, DS ACADEMY TEAM's goalkeeper Kyle Robinson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Avery Novak. In the 28th match minute, DS ACADEMY TEAM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dag Olofsson to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the match, DS ACADEMY TEAM's Ayberk Akgün sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rosendo Oinatz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fábio Silva got free with Kyle Robinson in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of DS ACADEMY TEAM booed when Vitória StrikerS™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fábio Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ayberk Akgün took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rosendo Oinatz. Rosendo Oinatz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After some careless play in the Vitória StrikerS™ defense, Ayberk Akgün kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rosendo Oinatz. The Vitória StrikerS™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rosendo Oinatz should have stopped the shot. After the first half DS ACADEMY TEAM were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rogério Vidal was the one to do the kick off. Rosendo Oinatz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ayberk Akgün, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When DS ACADEMY TEAM's Ayberk Akgün in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Vitória StrikerS™'s João Boaventura was substituted for Fábio Gouveia. 68 minutes in the game Stefan Marek got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. With a little luck, Vitória StrikerS™'s Rosendo Oinatz got control of the ball when Ayberk Akgün tried to sneak it across the goal line. Xie Ying Cheng charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xie Ying Cheng the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Vitória StrikerS™ getting a freekick after 81 minutes play.
