Born To Win F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. In the 15th match minute, Born To Win F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rosario Vilanova to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the match, Edmundo Espiga notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Born To Win F.C.'s Curro Quevedo. Curro Quevedo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fresco Pais in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by Honduras's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gaizka Aballe was slow to take the kick. During this time Born To Win F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. Saturnino Ledo charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saturnino Ledo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th match minute, Born To Win F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saturnino Ledo to maneuver through the defense. Born To Win F.C.'s Curro Quevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 27th minute of play. After 28 played minutes Born To Win F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Fresco Pais. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaizka Aballe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Moises Tafalla hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. 2-1 became the score in the 45th minute when Gaizka Aballe elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.

Luca Espinar hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Fresco Pais's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lautaro Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaizka Aballe in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lautaro Navarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Honduras's Sebastian Villa in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Born To Win F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Christian Sancho hit a great ball. In the 74th minute Gaizka Aballe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christian Sancho made in the 76th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Edmundo Espiga. Edmundo Espiga in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Curro Quevedo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, Born To Win F.C.'s Cordeiro Comas got a free kick in the 80th minute. Moises Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Curro Quevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sebastian Villa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute.
