Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Abram Sarmiento started the match with the kick off. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Silva in the 3rd minute of play. After 4 minutes Colombia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Glen Conklin who took care of the corner kick. The corner led New England Minas's Glen Conklin to fire away a dangerous shot which Pedro Manzanares despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 6 minutes into the match, New England Minas's Edgardo Silva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edgardo Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Colombia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Glen Conklin was slow to take the kick. During this time New England Minas's players had a chance to rest. A well done corner resulted in Tony Pacheco drilling the ball in to score 1-0 behind Colombia's goalkeeper. Jeremy Nicholas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santino Seco in the 22nd minute of play forced New England Minas's goalkeeper Jeremy Nicholas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Axel Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jeremy Nicholas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Alperen Öksüz tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 26 minutes Colombia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Glen Conklin who took care of the corner kick. Tony Pacheco made a great header on New England Minas's corner, it was just that Colombia's Pedro Manzanares managed to reach the ball for a save. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Edgardo Silva sped through Colombia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgardo Silva in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Manzanares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. In the 38th minute Santino Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremy Nicholas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Antonio Indiano in the 43rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by New England Minas's Ye Gang Cheng. The crowd rose to their feet as Edgardo Silva kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pedro Manzanares. That made the score 3-0 in the 45 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edgardo Silva to strike the kick off in the second half. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by New England Minas's Edgardo Silva. But to his dismay, Edgardo Silva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 67 minutes into the match, Colombia's Axel Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jeremy Nicholas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. Abram Secada made a great header on Colombia's corner, it was just that New England Minas's Jeremy Nicholas managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 82nd minute, Colombia's Abram Secada ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jeremy Nicholas. Jeremy Nicholas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Santino Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colombia's supporters rose to their feet, but Santino Seco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeremy Nicholas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Sito in the 94th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Sito in the 95th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the New England Minas players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
