Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mariano Lacasa got the match started through his kick off. Mariano Lacasa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Célio Maranhense tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emerson Jacaré in the 17th minute of play. Francisco Carballar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gustavo Coelho having to make a save. 25 minutes into the match, Emerson Jacaré notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Chile's Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emerson Jacaré in the 31st minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mariano Lacasa scored 1-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gustavo Coelho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 35th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustavo Coelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Casaus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 41 minutes of play, Xurupita FC's Emerson Jacaré made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thiago Pliego was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 44th minute, Mariano Lacasa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chile fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emerson Jacaré stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Chile's Mariano Lacasa got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Célio Maranhense came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Lilian Vântu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thiago Pliego. Chile's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lilian Vântu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Mariano Lacasa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Gustavo Coelho skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gustavo Coelho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Lacasa went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. Xurupita FC's Gustavo Coelho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Xurupita FC from getting a goal against them. Mariano Lacasa spun around in front of the goal 76 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Xurupita FC's goal. Xurupita FC's Christian Lima was substituted for Lilian Vântu. In the 80th minute, Christian Lima left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Xurupita FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. Gustavo Coelho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 93rd minute of play. Pedro Indiano hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Xurupita FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Chile had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
