Ricardo Zorita made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. 18 minutes into the game, Iker Mendiko recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ricardo Zorita. Iker Mendiko showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Ricardo Zorita was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Iker Mendiko capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Iker Mendiko really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. In the 27th minute, Makis Kasmiris got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iker Mendiko in the 29th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Iker Mendiko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute Alessandro Costacurta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardo Zorita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iker Mendiko in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricardo Zorita saved El Salvador from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Joery Boegaerts kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ricardo Zorita. That made the score 6-0 in the 43 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in El Salvador's zone, Makis Kasmiris stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal and Makis Kasmiris tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iker Mendiko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 56 minutes of play, Pity 31's Iker Mendiko made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Zorita was left in no man's land by his defense there! 60 minutes into the game, Clemente Fliz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Ricardo Zorita was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iker Mendiko in the 63rd minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Iker Mendiko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the El Salvador defense, Iker Mendiko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. The El Salvador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Zorita should have stopped the shot. Moises Fernandino's late challenge caught a Pity 31's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Moises Fernandino helped the player get up and apologised. In the 91st match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Fernandino to maneuver through the defense. 91 minutes into the match, Iker Mendiko notched a goal, 12-0, to the right of El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
