Elias Meck was slow to take the kick. During this time Samba Fotboll U21's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Elias Meck almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Honduras's Lautaro Navarro did a great save. Honduras's Valentín Carvallo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Måns Johansson in the 19 minute of the game. Zé Roberto van Beek made in the 20th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Valentín Carvallo. A sloppy throw-in by Valentín Carvallo in the 24th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Samba Fotboll U21's Fredrik Söderberg. The throw-in from Valentín Carvallo in the 26th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Samba Fotboll U21's Jim Meck. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Sebastian Villa hit a great ball. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joseph Holmberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Honduras's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Elias Meck was slow to take the kick. During this time Samba Fotboll U21's players had a chance to rest. Samba Fotboll U21's Elias Meck was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lautaro Navarro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Moises Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute, Jim Meck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lautaro Navarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Lautaro Navarro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joseph Holmberg went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. When Joseph Holmberg came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Samba Fotboll U21 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joseph Holmberg couldn't finish the play. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joseph Holmberg in the 48th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmundo Espiga to make the kick off. Wictor Gustavsson kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Joseph Holmberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Viktor Sillén got free with Lautaro Navarro in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
