Leo Björling showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. The audience was convinced that Alfons Stål's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfons Stål's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 16th minute. After 18 minutes, Alfons Stål made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Rikard Nyqvist took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Bondeträsk FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anton Grep didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rikard Nyqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
