Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Shi Li kicked off to start the match. Octavian Soare came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by USA's Monty Rogers. But to his dismay, Monty Rogers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 6th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavian Soare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute USA were awarded a corner. Cassius Byrne went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to USA's Jacob May getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Octavian Soare made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 10th minute of play. Octavian Soare showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 13th minute of the match. In the 15th minute Shi Li shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Octavian Soare showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ianis Man in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Day saved USA from getting behind. Galati Harbour Cats's Octavian Soare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassius Byrne in the 24th minute of play. After some careless play in the Galati Harbour Cats defense, Cassius Byrne kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Octavian Soare. The Galati Harbour Cats fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Octavian Soare should have stopped the shot. Octavian Soare showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 32nd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, USA's goalkeeper Marco Day had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Shi Li. After a rather tough play, Galati Harbour Cats's Antoni Dembkowski got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 44th match minute, Galati Harbour Cats was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shi Li to maneuver through the defense. USA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Shi Li scored to the left of an out of position Marco Day, making the score, 1-2.

The wind increased when Cassius Byrne made the kick off in the second half. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ianis Man in the 58th minute of play. Edward Mcdonald might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Octavian Soare. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edward Mcdonald ran back to his position shaking his head. 60 minutes into the match, Galati Harbour Cats's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Mcdonald came free, but Octavian Soare reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Shi Li's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Day read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. A collision led to Galati Harbour Cats getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Shi Li hit a great ball. Shi Li hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Octavian Soare showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 67th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Shi Li managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galati Harbour Cats's supporters rose to their feet, but Shi Li was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Day breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. USA's Sam Campbell was substituted for Cassius Byrne. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shi Li, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. The audience was convinced that Shi Li's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marco Day was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. Khalid Parry charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Khalid Parry the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Galati Harbour Cats booed when USA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Khalid Parry didn't get a good kick on the ball. Galati Harbour Cats's Shi Li got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 97th minute, USA's Sam Campbell ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Octavian Soare. Octavian Soare yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. The Galati Harbour Cats fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. USA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
