Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Cuatrodeocho's David Batuhin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cuatrodeocho's Fulgencio Villalcazar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Gayoso in the 4th minute of play. Moises Gayoso scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fulgencio Villalcazar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 7 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fulgencio Villalcazar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 9 minutes into the match, Cuatrodeocho's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Fulgencio Villalcazar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 10 minutes Cuatrodeocho's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 12th minute. After 17 played minutes Cuatrodeocho got a freekick which was hit by Felipe Dimas. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Batuhin, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute, Felipe Dimas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Milagros Fraga struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Fulgencio Villalcazar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Rolando Noboa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Cuatrodeocho's Gábor Gyepes got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cuatrodeocho's goalkeeper Fulgencio Villalcazar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 38th minute, Joaquin Prats hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peru were furious when Efraim Gilabert was red carded, 41 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Peru fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 40th minute. Penalty! After 44 minutes, Belarmino Campos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cuatrodeocho and the Peru players grew even worse after the yellow card. Belarmino Campos kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match.

Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horea Băieșu, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. The throw-in from Felipe Dimas in the 58th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. In the 59th minute David Batuhin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by Peru's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sid Wilson was slow to take the kick. During this time Cuatrodeocho's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in David Batuhin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Peru's Rolando Noboa did a great save. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Batuhin in the 62nd minute of play. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horea Băieșu in the 68th minute of play. Cuatrodeocho made a substitution. Iván Villafane replaced Horea Băieșu. Cuatrodeocho's Marco-Antonio Landa was substituted for Javier Maroto. José Planes made in the 74th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Julian Murillo. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. After a rather tough play, Cuatrodeocho's Belarmino Campos got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 90th minute David Batuhin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Iván Villafane came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peru played a much better game than Cuatrodeocho and deserved their victory. The Cuatrodeocho players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
