Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Joel Gaona made the kick off and thus started the match. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Veguri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Domingo Lozano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Kurt Rosen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 27th minute of the match. The supporters of Mexico booed when Rapid Punta Cana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro Harvey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kurt Rosen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the game, Alberto Tafalla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Kurt Rosen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rapid Punta Cana's Patricio Veguri got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 40th minute Patricio Veguri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Rapid Punta Cana's Domingo Lozano. But to his dismay, Domingo Lozano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Kurt Rosen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Mexico were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patricio Veguri to make the kick off. Lorenzo Cazalla kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Rapid Punta Cana's Domingo Lozano got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 56th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kurt Rosen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kurt Rosen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Facundo Cadaval recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sebastián Prado kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 74 minutes into the match, Rapid Punta Cana's goalkeeper Kurt Rosen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Tafalla. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 76th minute of play forced Rapid Punta Cana's goalkeeper Kurt Rosen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Rapid Punta Cana's Kurt Rosen got control of the ball when Lautaro Mancebo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kurt Rosen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lautaro Mancebo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 78 minute of play. In the 95th minute, Lautaro Mancebo made a precise shot to the right of Kurt Rosen. Rapid Punta Cana's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Mexico's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
