Lautaro Navarro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 齐迅渊's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. In the 31st match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Tafalla to maneuver through the defense. Edmundo Espigas short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got 龚克扬 to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Sebastian Villa took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 龚克扬. 龚克扬 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Sebastian Villa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. 龚克扬 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 孔坤昆 kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Moises Tafalla struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. 龚克扬 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 74th minute of the game 武天烨 made a throw-in which 齐迅渊 played forward. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Milagros Cabal hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when 齐迅渊 got free with Lautaro Navarro in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 2-3 became the score in the 77th minute when 齐迅渊 elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 87th play minute Qu Feng came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Lautaro Navarro. 2-4. Qu Feng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when 程雄宽 came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 山东曲阜孔子子弟联队's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
