Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enrique Tauro in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The attack was good, but when Enrique Tauro in the 3rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 4th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herminio Camerino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herminio Camerino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 7th minute of the match. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herminio Camerino came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After some careless play in the CA Twister Rodríguez defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Herminio Camerino. The CA Twister Rodríguez fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Herminio Camerino should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Laureano Tabor during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Ecuador booed when CA Twister Rodríguez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laureano Tabor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Herminio Camerino came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Tauro in the 44th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 47 minutes CA Twister Rodríguez's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Juan Sebastián Puig got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Herminio Camerino quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to CA Twister Rodríguez getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Jorge Berdaitz hit a great ball. In the 53rd minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 54 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when 秦青斌 came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Herminio Camerino was a little too slow when Cristian Sancho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 0-7. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herminio Camerino having to interfere. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enrique Tauro's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Tauro came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CA Twister Rodríguez's Herminio Camerino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save CA Twister Rodríguez from getting a goal against them. 81 minutes into the match, Enrique Tauro notched a goal, 1-7, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Laureano Tabor struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CA Twister Rodríguez. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Tauro in the 88th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Agustín Saelices got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Herminio Camerino quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
