Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) AD Oeiras's Alfredão Messias started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Moises Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinho Arruda having to interfere. Percy do Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 7th minute of the match Edmundo Espiga sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Claudinho Arruda skillfully saved the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfredão Messias. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claudinho Arruda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. AD Oeiras's Tiago Gabriel de Souza got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Sebastian Villa came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Villa couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 24th minute of play forced AD Oeiras's goalkeeper Claudinho Arruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Claudinho Arruda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Honduras's attentive Valentín Carvallo managed to snatch the ball when Lucas de Sena made a throw-in in the 36th minute of the game. Claudinho Arruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentín Carvallo in the 37th minute of play. Claudinho Arruda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Lautaro Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zé Paulo Bertassi in the 43rd minute. Tiago Gabriel de Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. Sebastian Villa hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmundo Espiga to make the kick off. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tarcisio da Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AD Oeiras's Claudinho Arruda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Tafalla in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute of the match Honduras got a corner. AD Oeiras's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edmundo Espiga ran over to the corner to take the kick. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Claudinho Arruda in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, AD Oeiras's Dino Jacinto got a free kick in the 62nd minute. AD Oeiras's Claudinho Arruda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Villa in the 68th minute of play. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredão Messias in the 69th minute of the match. Honduras's Valentín Carvallo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Lucas de Sena, made in the 71st minute of the game. Honduras's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edmundo Espiga in the 76th minute. The corner led Honduras's Edmundo Espiga to fire away a dangerous shot which Claudinho Arruda despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 79thth minute of the game Alfredão Messias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Honduras's Lautaro Navarro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Villa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Claudinho Arruda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edmundo Espiga struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Claudinho Arruda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
