Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aron Dahlbom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 6th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rudolf Josefsson during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, MAFFIAN's Rudolf Josefsson got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 8th match minute, MAFFIAN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Östen Vennersten to maneuver through the defense. If Thomas Wassberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thomas Wassberg's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aron Dahlbom narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that MAFFIAN's Aron Dahlbom managed to reach the ball for a save. MAFFIAN's Aron Dahlbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 25th minute of play. After 26 minutes MAFFIAN's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of MAFFIAN's goalie and right to Felix Montenegro. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. MAFFIAN's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aron Dahlbom having to make a save. 30 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aron Dahlbom made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When George Svensson fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MAFFIAN's protests and gave George Svensson a yellow card for diving instead. George Svensson hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Alex Vallin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 43 minutes into the match, MAFFIAN's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Aron Dahlbom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

George Svensson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 53 minutes into the match, MAFFIAN's goalkeeper Aron Dahlbom had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Montenegro. Alex Vallin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Wassberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Aron Dahlbom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Greger Broberg during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 70 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aron Dahlbom was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Aron Dahlbom in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kristoffer Nyberg kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Daniel Zorita hit a great ball. In the 81st minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Aron Dahlbom. MAFFIAN's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. After 87 minutes MAFFIAN's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. After 93 minutes, Alex Vallin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MAFFIAN and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 93rd match minute, MAFFIAN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Vallin to maneuver through the defense. Aron Dahlbom didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. Ecuador played a much better game than MAFFIAN and deserved their victory. The MAFFIAN players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
