Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Landulfos FC's Pedrão Pereira started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Flávio de Azevedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 10th minute. Andrea Napoleone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Landulfos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Flávio de Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 17th minute. The corner led Ecuador's Luis Andino to fire away a dangerous shot which Flávio de Azevedo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. Flávio de Azevedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 26th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Landulfos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Flávio de Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Landulfos FC's Pedrão Pereira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 38th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Zorita to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Andrea Napoleone managed to get in a good position for a shot. Landulfos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Andrea Napoleone was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedrão Pereira in the 45th minute of play. When Régis Vidal fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Landulfos FC's protests and gave Régis Vidal a yellow card for diving instead. 45 minutes into the game, one of Landulfos FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Flávio de Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 60th minute of play. The corner led Ecuador's Luis Andino to fire away a dangerous shot which Flávio de Azevedo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Pedrão Pereira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. 64 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Emílio Maciel was slow to take the kick. During this time Landulfos FC's players had a chance to rest. Landulfos FC's Naldo da Silveira was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flávio de Azevedo having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrea Napoleone got free with Julio Vera in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Landulfos FC's Flávio de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 71st minute of play. Flávio de Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 74th minute of the match. Primitivo Andino hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. After 78 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. In the 83rd minute, Landulfos FC's Pedrão Pereira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Julio Vera. Julio Vera yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedrão Pereira got free with Julio Vera in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 90 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Emílio Maciel who took care of the corner kick. In the 93rd minute Pedrão Pereira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
