Spectators: 52 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 12, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nilmar Marinho started the match with the kick off. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilmar Marinho in the 3rd minute of play. 9 minutes into the game, Nilmar Marinho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Thiago Pliego was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 12th minute of play forced Chivos de Punto Fijo's goalkeeper Dani Hernández to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Nilmar Marinho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thiago Pliego made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Nilmar Marinho sent off a good shot on target. When Nilmar Marinho came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Chivos de Punto Fijo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nilmar Marinho couldn't finish the play. 21 minutes into the match, Chivos de Punto Fijo's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Casaus came free, but Dani Hernández reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rdth minute of the game Nilmar Marinho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 29thth minute of the game Mariano Lacasa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chivos de Punto Fijo's Dani Hernández was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 32nd minute of the match, Nilmar Marinho got a very nice opportunity to score, but Thiago Pliego was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nilmar Marinho in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorio Cerra in the 35th minute of the match. In the 39th minute of the match Chile got a corner. Chivos de Punto Fijo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mariano Lacasa ran over to the corner to take the kick. Chile's Pedro Indiano was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dani Hernández in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, Chile's Alan Tamayo got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Gerardo Pozo hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariano Lacasa made a kick off. In the 51stth minute of the game Nilmar Marinho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Mariano Lacasa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chile's supporters rose to their feet, but Mariano Lacasa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dani Hernández breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilmar Marinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The audience was convinced that Nilmar Marinho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Pliego was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dani Hernández having to make a save. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chivos de Punto Fijo's goalkeeper Dani Hernández, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Nilmar Marinho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Pliego was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Chivos de Punto Fijo's goalkeeper Dani Hernández, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 68th minute, Honorio Cerra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chivos de Punto Fijo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Chivos de Punto Fijo made a substitution. Juan Torrent replaced Filip Bochinski. After a rather tough play, Chile's Xavier Figueroa got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 73rd match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Indiano to maneuver through the defense. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mannuel Ser, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nilmar Marinho took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. In the 90th minute, Honorio Cerra made a precise shot to the right of Thiago Pliego. Chile's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilmar Marinho in the 93rd minute of play. Dani Hernández made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 94th minute of play. Chile's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
