The Black is Back fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kristóf Balázs should have stopped the shot. In the 15th match minute, Black is Back was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gugu Goiano to maneuver through the defense. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Otto Kaxe sent off a good shot on target. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otto Kaxe in the 23rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Otto Kaxe got free with Rolando Noboa in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Peru's Eliseo Mina got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Black is Back's Kristóf Balázs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 34th minute of play. Julian Murillo scored 0-2 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kristóf Balázs, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Peru were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Murillo was the one to do the kick off. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otto Kaxe in the 55th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kristóf Balázs narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 62nd minute of play forced Black is Back's goalkeeper Kristóf Balázs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Black is Back's Kristóf Balázs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 64th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Glenn Strömberg in the 65th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kristóf Balázs was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Milagros Fraga might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kristóf Balázs. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Milagros Fraga ran back to his position shaking his head. Black is Back's Kristóf Balázs proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Black is Back from getting a goal against them. The throw-in from Carl Eckegren in the 74th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Anthony Alvarado. Eliseo Mina received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kristóf Balázs came out and tried to block the shot, but Eliseo Mina slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 79th minute. The throw-in from Carl Eckegren in the 84th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. 89 minutes into the match, Antonio Tenorio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kristóf Balázs. Black is Back's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antonio Tenorio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Kristóf Balázs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Gallo in the 93rd minute of play. Kristóf Balázs made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Rafael Gallo sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle sounded Peru left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Black is Back.
