After a rather tough play, DONPATO's Ali Emir Ünver got a free kick in the 8th minute. 17 minutes into the match, DONPATO's Enis Dersu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 18 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Enis Dersu came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alkan Soysaltürk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 26th minute of play. DONPATO's Alkan Soysaltürk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 28th minute of play. After 30 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ecuador! Ecuador:s Julio Vera showed great skill when he stopped Timoteo Dalmau:s penalty. Alkan Soysaltürk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alkan Soysaltürk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 42nd match minute, DONPATO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elequemedo Lomba to maneuver through the defense.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cristian Sancho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Alkan Soysaltürk when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Ecuador booed when DONPATO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Martínez Quarta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucas Martínez Quarta hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. DONPATO's Jairo Francesco was substituted for Lambis Tsekouras. After 75 minutes, Benedito de Sousa made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedito de Sousa in the 77th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
