Spectators: 51 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Estudiantes de América's Kraig Fred started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A sloppy throw-in by Alex Chicote in the 3rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Estudiantes de América's Kert Roolaid. Kraig Fred took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kraig Fred went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. When Salvador Gisbert fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Salvador Gisbert a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Salvador Gisbert got a free kick in the 13th minute. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcos Ranolfo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Kraig Fred cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 25 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de América's Kraig Fred sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Kraig Fred sent off a good shot on target. After 29 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kraig Fred in the 31st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kraig Fred in the 32nd minute of play. Marcos Ranolfo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 33rd minute of play. Marcos Ranolfo came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Patricio Costa. But to his dismay, Patricio Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. 38 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Kraig Fred came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Kraig Fred tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 46 played minutes Kraig Fred rounded Venezuela's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 5-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Dzierwa, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Kraig Fred managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estudiantes de América's supporters rose to their feet, but Kraig Fred was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kraig Fred blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Estudiantes de América's Concetto Trasatti was substituted for Kraig Fred. In the 58th match minute, Estudiantes de América was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prospero Gabirel to maneuver through the defense. Estudiantes de América's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Maximo Dei in the 62nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Orlando Beltza in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Marcos Ranolfo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 68th minute, Concetto Trasatti left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Estudiantes de América fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Concetto Trasatti in the 72nd minute of play. 74 minutes into the game, Concetto Trasatti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-1. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 77th minute Orlando Beltza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Beltza in the 78th minute of play. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Maximo Dei was slow to take the kick. During this time Estudiantes de América's players had a chance to rest. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Concetto Trasatti's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Beltza in the 83rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Orlando Beltza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Concetto Trasatti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Concetto Trasatti in the 91st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute Concetto Trasatti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Illescass short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Marcos Ranolfo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 95th minute, Traian Blăniță got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Estudiantes de América players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
