To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kevin Mastache kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Murat Zelenika made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 8thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Pedro Manzanares would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. The corner ended in Slawomir Polkoski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares did a great save. 11 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Börge Tidéksson came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, FK KLIS's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Mastache came free, but Giannis Konstantinou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Axel Montenegro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Giannis Konstantinou came out and tried to block the shot, but Axel Montenegro slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 51st minute. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murat Zelenika in the 58th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jahija Selimotić's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. The supporters of FK KLIS booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abram Sarmiento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murat Zelenika in the 69th minute of the match. The supporters of Colombia booed when FK KLIS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Muzafer Mašić didn't get a good kick on the ball. Murat Zelenika blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. In the 81st minute Murat Zelenika shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute, Ignacio Mastache got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Colombia's Kevin Mastache suffered a sore thigh after 86 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jahija Selimotić during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Colombia's Israel Elvira was substituted for Kevin Mastache. In the 87th minute, Jahija Selimotić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Murat Zelenika had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92ndth minute of the game Murat Zelenika who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
