Valentin Voicu ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Voicu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baraxil Sarrate took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Panama's Matthew Garrido got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 51st minute, Panama's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Florian Pruss fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Bennvar Trollegaard managed to get in a good position for a shot. VILLARREAL UNITED's supporters rose to their feet, but Bennvar Trollegaard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. VILLARREAL UNITED's Baraxil Sarrate played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 73rd minute of play. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Valentin Voicu sped through Panama's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Valentin Voicu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Valentin Voicu really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. In the 91st minute, Nofre Madariaga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Cotilla was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. VILLARREAL UNITED made a substitution. Yusuf Kaya replaced Valentin Voicu.
