Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Stor Stad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Black Cold made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Rickard Algren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rickard Algren having to interfere. Ninjas FK's Rickard Algren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 62nd minute of play. When Jorden Blomme fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ninjas FK's protests and gave Jorden Blomme a yellow card for diving instead.
