Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Ibañez, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 26th match minute, ANAHA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Korkut Sinan to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes into the match, ANAHA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Firmin Négrel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. Tanek Walczyk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. After 56 played minutes ANAHA FC got a freekick which was hit by Djibril Herbaut. Firmin Négrel came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Joel Gaona. But to his dismay, Joel Gaona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 63 minutes into the match, ANAHA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Firmin Négrel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacob Rieu hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After 67 minutes, Cayetano Ponc mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ANAHA FC and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cayetano Ponc kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match.
