With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alberto Lucian saved Tapebicuá from getting behind. 5 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Virgilio Loi came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute, Tapebicuá's Virgilio Loi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Virgilio Loi succeeded in the game's 14th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. The Honduras fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 23 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Robin Fagrell came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lautaro Navarro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Virgilio Loi's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. The Honduras fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmundo Espiga couldn't finish the play. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgilio Loi, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. An unexpected shot in the 40th minute by Virgilio Loi got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Sebastian Villa hit a great ball. Baltasar Franco kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. In the 47th minute of the match Edmundo Espiga sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alberto Lucian skillfully saved the ball. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Edmundo Espiga made the kick off in the second half. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Tapebicuá's Cristian Dolberg. But to his dismay, Cristian Dolberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Dolberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 64th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Virgilio Loi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lautaro Navarro was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. The supporters of Honduras booed when Tapebicuá was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Dolberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee ignored Honduras's protests and gave Milagros Cabal a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Tapebicuá booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban Carvallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnoldo Ignazio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
