In the 40th minute, Haroldo Weather left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pannekoeken fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Pannekoeken booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Fernando Geraets managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pannekoeken's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernando Geraets was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Haroldo Weather stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Weather came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haroldo Weather in the 88th minute of play. When the match was over Pannekoeken could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Venezuela throughout the match.
