Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Skirmantas Balinskas charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Skirmantas Balinskas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 2nd minute, Skirmantas Balinskas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Tomas Berganza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bengt-Rune Björk was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. After 5 minutes of play, Panama's Abraham Alguacil made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bengt-Rune Björk was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bengt-Rune Björk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abraham Alguacil's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Bengt-Rune Björk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 17th minute of play. Miguel Miralles hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmundas Donskis got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 27 minutes, Abraham Alguacil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abraham Alguacil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Domas Jakštys hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Eglynas's Bengt-Rune Björk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 32nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jokūbas Inda during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jokūbas Inda hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute, Edmundas Donskis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isidoro Sarmiento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Bengt-Rune Björk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 46 minutes, Marijus Lukšys mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eglynas and the Panama players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Eglynas's Marijus Lukšys got a free kick in the 46th minute.

Felipe Ros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bengt-Rune Björk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Dylan Sarmiento hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marijus Lukšys, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Eglynas's Edmundas Donskis. But to his dismay, Edmundas Donskis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt-Rune Björk having to interfere. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Skirmantas Balinskas in the 68th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundas Donskis came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 74 played minutes Eglynas got a freekick which was hit by Domas Jakštys. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abraham Alguacil got free with Bengt-Rune Björk in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Matthew Garrido hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Eglynas's Marijus Lukšys tried to score from far away in the 78th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Bengt-Rune Björk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Berganza's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. In the 88th minute of the match Panama got a corner. Eglynas's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Abraham Alguacil ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Abraham Alguacil almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Eglynas's Bengt-Rune Björk did a great save. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Panama booed when Eglynas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jokūbas Inda didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Eglynas's Bengt-Rune Björk got control of the ball when Abraham Alguacil tried to sneak it across the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
