In the 13th minute of the match, Constantino Johans tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lautaro Navarro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ariel Qwinton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Lautaro Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adan Paio in the 20th minute. In the 22ndth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Megistus's Ariel Qwinton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Megistus's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Leo Ondino in the 34th minute. The corner ended in Leo Ondino almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Honduras's Lautaro Navarro did a great save. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39thth minute of the game Constantino Johans who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Honduras's Lautaro Navarro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Honduras's attentive Valentín Carvallo managed to snatch the ball when Martin Pirro made a throw-in in the 46th minute of the game. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Constantino Johans stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Megistus's Ariel Qwinton got control of the ball when Edmundo Espiga tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Honduras players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Megistus from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
