After a defensive mix-up in Jofurs Drängar's zone, Lautaro Mancebo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christer Vallman came out of the goal and Lautaro Mancebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Mexico's Joel Gaona slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Christer Vallman. That made the score 3-1 after 33 minutes of play. After 35 played minutes Jofurs Drängar got a freekick which was hit by Conny Myr. The supporters of Mexico booed when Jofurs Drängar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conny Myr didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christer Vallman was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lautaro Mancebo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-1 in the 43 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Mexico's Alberto Tafalla slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Christer Vallman. That made the score 5-1 after 46 minutes of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-1.
The wind increased when Alfons Helström made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christer Vallman. Jofurs Drängar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Tafalla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. Christer Vallman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 53rd minute of the match. After 59 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Luca Zorita. After some careless play in the Jofurs Drängar defense, Alberto Tafalla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christer Vallman. The Jofurs Drängar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christer Vallman should have stopped the shot. In the 67th minute, Kennet Majman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 69 minutes into the game, Alberto Tafalla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-1. Christer Vallman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 80 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla notched a goal, 10-1, to the right of Jofurs Drängar's Christer Vallman. Christer Vallman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 83rdth minute of the game Lautaro Mancebo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jofurs Drängar's Christer Vallman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Facundo Cadaval sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 87 minutes, Kennet Majman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jofurs Drängar and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jofurs Drängar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lautaro Mancebo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Mexico fully deserved thier win.
