Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Seyfi Çırakoğlu kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Seyfi Çırakoğlu. 5 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Patricio Costa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rafael Flamme narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jean Moura thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Rafael Flamme, a very annoying self made goal in the 6th minute which led to 0-1. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Flamme having to interfere. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucian Mărculescu in the 10th minute of play. Rafael Flamme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 13th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Lucian Mărculescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Italia.1.FCKaiserslautern's Seyfi Çırakoğlu came free and shot a quick shot against goal 22 minutes in the game, fortunately Jonathan Ferrant had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafael Flamme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rafael Flamme. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 30th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Flamme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rafael Flamme. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Rafael Flamme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 31st minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Foser, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, Seyfi Çırakoğlu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Seyfi Çırakoğlu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 40 played minutes Italia.1.FCKaiserslautern got a freekick which was hit by Torbjörn Asmundsson. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guillermo Mariano during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Seyfi Çırakoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Seyfi Çırakoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th minute, Jörg Ehlers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rafael Flamme was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Flamme having to interfere. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lucian Mărculescu took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rafael Flamme in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Seyfi Çırakoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Torbjörn Asmundsson kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 78th minute of the game Torbjörn Asmundsson made a throw-in which Shao Xi played forward. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucian Mărculescu in the 79th minute of play. The Italia.1.FCKaiserslautern fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when Italia.1.FCKaiserslautern's Shao Xi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Italia.1.FCKaiserslautern getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Torbjörn Asmundsson hit a great ball. In the 85th minute, Patricio Costa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rafael Flamme. The goal made the score 3-2. In the 87th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. After 91 played minutes Italia.1.FCKaiserslautern got a freekick which was hit by Torbjörn Asmundsson. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Italia.1.FCKaiserslautern's goalkeeper Rafael Flamme, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Italia.1.FCKaiserslautern's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
