Detlef Schneller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. TuS Hackenberg 2005's Josef Biehl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 7th minute of play. Agustín Saelices received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Josef Biehl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of TuS Hackenberg 2005's Josef Biehl. Josef Biehl was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Levin Moths stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Levin Moths tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 16 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felix Montenegro during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 18th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Josef Biehl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Josef Biehl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With an all-out effort, TuS Hackenberg 2005's Julio Vera threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edgar Abersell, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bodo Scheuermann during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 36th match minute, TuS Hackenberg 2005 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bodo Scheuermann to maneuver through the defense. In the 37th minute, Levin Moths hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Detlef Schneller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
The wind increased when Detlef Schneller made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, TuS Hackenberg 2005's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Josef Biehl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Detlef Schneller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Josef Biehl was a little too slow when Felix Montenegro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 0-3. Josef Biehl made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. 64 minutes into the match, Felix Montenegro notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of TuS Hackenberg 2005's Josef Biehl. Josef Biehl was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Josef Biehl in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Edgar Abersell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Abersell, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 77th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of TuS Hackenberg 2005's goalie and right to Juan Sebastián Puig. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. TuS Hackenberg 2005's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Josef Biehl made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 83rd minute. After 84 minutes, Karl Offenloch mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TuS Hackenberg 2005 and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 84 played minutes TuS Hackenberg 2005 got a freekick which was hit by Karl Offenloch. After having played for 84 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Felix Montes hit a great ball. After 94 minutes of play TuS Hackenberg 2005's Karl Offenloch was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 94 minutes into the game, one of TuS Hackenberg 2005:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Josef Biehl went to the wrong direction when Daniel Zorita was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josef Biehl having to interfere. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
