Lautaro Mancebo took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leigh Smith. Leigh Smith dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Janusz Pająk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leigh Smith showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 55 minutes into the match, Brixton Celtics's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Leigh Smith reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mexico's Alberto Tafalla managed to work through Brixton Celtics's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Alberto Tafalla dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leigh Smith breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brixton Celtics's goalkeeper Leigh Smith, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 82 minutes into the match, Brixton Celtics's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Zorita came free, but Leigh Smith reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brixton Celtics's Leigh Smith played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 93rd minute of play. The Brixton Celtics fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mexico were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
