Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wagn Nytoft in the 31st minute of play. In the 36th minute, Fritz Grauholt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gerhart Krainert was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Donald Liktensteen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donald Liktensteen in the 75th minute of the match. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerhart Krainert having to interfere. After 78 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. Anton Fridolin hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. 95 minutes into the game, Sletteenge's Donald Liktensteen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Sletteenge's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
