In the 5th minute of the match, Detlef Schneller got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dante Lacasa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josef Biehl having to interfere. In the 9th minute Detlef Schneller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Joel Gaona scored 0-2 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Josef Biehl, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 26 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Abersell came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Josef Biehl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 36 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Detlef Schneller. In the 41st minute Duran Revan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner ended in Edgar Abersell almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa did a great save. In the 43rd minute, TuS Hackenberg 2005's Edgar Abersell ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Helge Piechocki hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Josef Biehl in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 54 minutes into the match, TuS Hackenberg 2005's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Josef Biehl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by TuS Hackenberg 2005's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Luca Rouco got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Josef Biehl quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Josef Biehl successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Josef Biehl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Mancebo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Josef Biehl firmly grabbed it by the left post. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. TuS Hackenberg 2005's Josef Biehl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 61st minute of play. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Detlef Schneller went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after TuS Hackenberg 2005's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. In the 75th minute, Duran Revan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TuS Hackenberg 2005 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. In the 80th match minute, TuS Hackenberg 2005 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl Offenloch to maneuver through the defense. 80 minutes into the match, Mexico's Joel Gaona sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Josef Biehl narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Josef Biehl made a huge save. Thanks to some nice moves Lautaro Mancebo could shoot a difficult shot in the 83rd minute, which Josef Biehl however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Abersell in the 85th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 86 minutes, Josef Biehl successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felix Luque during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of TuS Hackenberg 2005 booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Luque didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duran Revan in the 90th minute of play. TuS Hackenberg 2005's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
