Eleuterio Mirande ran back to his position shaking his head. 33 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Eleuterio Mirande came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, Martin Gorbea threw the ball into play from the sideline. In the 93rd minute, Abram Secada ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gabby Arias was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
