The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in ◇Mz.梦◆糖球's zone, Monty Rogers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 俞平亦 came out of the goal and Monty Rogers tried to chip the ball over his head. Marco Day dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 陶翀辰 in the 30th minute of play. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind ◇Mz.梦◆糖球's goalkeeper 俞平亦, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 34 minutes into the match, Monty Rogers had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of 俞平亦. ◇Mz.梦◆糖球's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Monty Rogers was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 陶翀辰 in the 36th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the game, 汪桑勇 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ◇Mz.梦◆糖球's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave USA the free kick. USA's Marco Day proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save USA from getting a goal against them. When the referee ended the match the USA players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
