Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. Christijan Schreuder could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A sloppy throw-in by Phoenix Soare in the 8th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Venezuela's Jose Correa. In the 10th minute Christijan Schreuder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Phoenix Soare charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Phoenix Soare the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Phoenix Soare hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Harm de Freitas kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Christijan Schreuder kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Ruud Geels's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Verwachting's zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herbert Hilhorst came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 23rd minute, Verwachting's Harm de Freitas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Verwachting's Ruud Geels. But to his dismay, Ruud Geels quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 35th minute Ruud Geels shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ruud Geels in the 37th minute. After 37 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Illescas. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Twan Hesseling stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Twan Hesseling tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Verwachting's Herbert Hilhorst played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 44th minute of play. Ruud Geels blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

In the 57th minute, Twan Hesseling ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. 61 minutes into the game, Twan Hesseling was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Verwachting's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. Twan Hesseling kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Herbert Hilhorst read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. After 65 played minutes Verwachting got a freekick which was hit by Adriaan Kuypers. In the 73rd minute, Ruud Geels ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Christijan Schreuder took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Verwachting's Harm de Freitas couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Venezuela. There was no doubt that Verwachting were the better team. Verwachting's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
