After 24 played minutes Villa Martelli Soc. Fom. got a freekick which was hit by Desiderio Marin. After 27 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Andino. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the match, Villa Martelli Soc. Fom.'s goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Haroldo Ado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Villa Martelli Soc. Fom.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Haroldo Ado despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 33 played minutes Villa Martelli Soc. In the 35th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Ado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Emilio Cordarius could shoot a difficult shot in the 36th minute, which Julio Vera however easily saved by the left post. Emilio Cordarius came free with the goalkeeper in the 36th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Julio Vera could save by the left post. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Haroldo Ado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haroldo Ado having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Desiderio Marin hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 45thth minute Daniel Zorita easily got through Villa Martelli Soc. Fom.'s defense and fired away a shot, but Haroldo Ado leaped left and performed a fabulous save. In the 46th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it.

Daniel Zorita in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Haroldo Ado, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Cordarius in the 56th minute of the match. Haroldo Ado made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erubiel Quinton in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Placido Astudillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Villa Martelli Soc. Fom. getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Hugo Dabi hit a great ball. Villa Martelli Soc. Fom. made a substitution. Ulises Rico replaced Erubiel Quinton. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Villa Martelli Soc. Fom. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Dabi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Villa Martelli Soc. Fom.'s zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fom.'s Haroldo Ado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Villa Martelli Soc. Fom. from getting a goal against them. In the 95th minute Ulises Rico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Villa Martelli Soc. Fom..
