Apolo Modestio made in the 40th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Sliema Dragons FC's Giovanni Demicoli. Stat Veritas FC's Mauricio Erramun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kim Bolas in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd minute Adolfo Fresco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mike Axisa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sliema Dragons FC's Mike Axisa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Sliema Dragons FC from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Stat Veritas FC's Mauricio Erramun got control of the ball when Baran Erozan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Stat Veritas FC's Mauricio Erramun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Stat Veritas FC from getting a goal against them.
