After 28 played minutes SABALEPLUS got a freekick which was hit by Máximo Kirchner. In the 29th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Toli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 45th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Matthew Alavedra to strike the kick off in the second half. Santiago Toli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ovidio Enaut took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Santiago Toli in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Máximo Kirchner took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 65th minute, Máximo Kirchner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SABALEPLUS made a substitution. Yiğit Tanırer replaced Máximo Kirchner. In the 72nd minute, Ovidio Enaut got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 74 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when SABALEPLUS's Matthew Alavedra fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adam Penc lost his temper 95 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. When the referee blew the final whistle, SABALEPLUS could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
