In the 24th minute, Kurt Söderberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 27 minutes of play, Motståndarlaget's Henry Nordkvist made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Henry Nordkvist scored 2-3 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Jano Maciel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. After the first half Motståndarlaget were leading 2-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 苏磊乐 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lennart Browall got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 69 minutes, Kurt Söderberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Motståndarlaget and the Colombia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Colombia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Henry Nordkvist scored to the left of an out of position Pedro Manzanares, making the score, 2-6. 83 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when 苏磊乐 came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute 苏磊乐 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lennart Browall got a throw-in 93 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Fredrik Aronsson. Thomas Ravelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascual Carballar in the 94th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Motståndarlaget eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
