Kepa Arrizabalaga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 52nd minute of the match. ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Kepa Arrizabalaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 56th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arthur Guedes. When Ferhan Koçarslanoğlu fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s protests and gave Ferhan Koçarslanoğlu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Ferhan Koçarslanoğlu hit a great ball. Despite being the better team, Mexico failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
