Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorino Diaz in the 31st minute of the match. Ψ virgen Ψ were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Honduras's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zeledon Manni took the corner. Lautaro Navarro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victorino Diaz went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. The Honduras players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ψ virgen Ψ were winning 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Victorino Diaz to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Ocampo to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victorino Diaz in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lautaro Navarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 62nd minute, Milagros Cabal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victorino Diaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Chants of Ψ virgen Ψ echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Honduras had held the ball for most of the match.
