Isidor Balboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 3rd minute of the match. 5 minutes into the game, Joel Gaona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Isidor Balboa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 12 minutes into the match, Cuatrodeocho's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Isidor Balboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isidor Balboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 13th minute of play. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 14th minute. The corner ended in Luca Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cuatrodeocho's Isidor Balboa did a great save. The Mexico fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Mexico's Alberto Tafalla looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Isidor Balboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 26th minute, Lautaro Mancebo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Cuatrodeocho's Isidor Balboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 31st minute of play. In the 35th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidor Balboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isidor Balboa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Tafalla went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Austin Urbina hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. Cuatrodeocho's defense didn't have a chance, in the 51st minute, when Joel Gaona scored to the left of an out of position Isidor Balboa, making the score, 0-5. After a defensive mix-up in Cuatrodeocho's zone, Alberto Tafalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isidor Balboa came out of the goal and Alberto Tafalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcial Tarin, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidor Balboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Macos Graciani took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isidor Balboa. Isidor Balboa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Alberto Tafalla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isidor Balboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Mexico's Joel Gaona slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Isidor Balboa. That made the score 0-7 after 66 minutes of play. Cuatrodeocho's Altzibar Pareja was substituted for Marcial Tarin. After a rather tough play, Cuatrodeocho's Luis Aragones got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Isidor Balboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 77th minute. Alberto Tafalla struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Isidor Balboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Alberto Tafalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 89 minutes into the match, Cuatrodeocho's goalkeeper Isidor Balboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Tafalla. With a little luck, Cuatrodeocho's Isidor Balboa got control of the ball when Alberto Tafalla tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Mexico booed when Cuatrodeocho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Aragones didn't get a good kick on the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Cuatrodeocho's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Isidor Balboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
