Julian Murillo took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isidor Balboa. Isidor Balboa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A sloppy throw-in by Isaio Mata in the 8th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Eliseo Mina was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Eliseo Mina hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Belo Sauca, made in the 16th minute of the game. Isidor Balboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Julian Murillo took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isidor Balboa. Isidor Balboa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 21st minute, Moises Gayoso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isidor Balboa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 26thth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cuatrodeocho's Isidor Balboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 29 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Isidor Balboa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 32nd minute of play forced Cuatrodeocho's goalkeeper Isidor Balboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peru's Luz Tejedor got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Peru were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Perico Castro made the kick off in the second half. Isidor Balboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 53rd minute of the match. After 55 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Luz Tejedor. 59 minutes into the match, Peru's Milagros Fraga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isidor Balboa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 64 minutes, Bazil Noya mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cuatrodeocho and the Peru players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 64 played minutes Cuatrodeocho got a freekick which was hit by Bazil Noya. In the 65thth minute of the game Julian Murillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cuatrodeocho's Isidor Balboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eliseo Mina received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Isidor Balboa came out and tried to block the shot, but Eliseo Mina slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 67th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Milagros Fraga got free with Isidor Balboa in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Milagros Fraga received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Isidor Balboa came out and tried to block the shot, but Milagros Fraga slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 72nd minute. Isidor Balboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Mina in the 77th minute of the match. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. The supporters of Peru booed when Cuatrodeocho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Belo Sauca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peru's Rafael Gallo got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rafael Gallo might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isidor Balboa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rafael Gallo ran back to his position shaking his head. Isidor Balboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Gallo in the 89th minute of play. Isidor Balboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Gallo in the 91st minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Rafael Gallo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Isidor Balboa. That made the score 0-6 in the 92 minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Peru left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cuatrodeocho.
