Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Julian Murillo started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Peru booed when Yrigoyen.F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mahir Uyun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Atilano Sotil's late challenge caught a Peru's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Atilano Sotil helped the player get up and apologised. In the 7th minute, Atilano Sotil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by CJ Klose in the 9th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as CJ Klose kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rolando Noboa. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. When Emanuel Jakes fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yrigoyen.F.C's protests and gave Emanuel Jakes a yellow card for diving instead. Emanuel Jakes hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Julian Murillo put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Petr Školník. Petr Školník made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 23rd minute of play. In the 39th minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petr Školník saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emmanuel Reyes hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

51 minutes into the match, Yrigoyen.F.C's goalkeeper Petr Školník had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luz Tejedor. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from CJ Klose, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 66th minute, Aurelio Feliz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Luz Tejedor from long distance, 68 minutes into the match, got Petr Školník's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from CJ Klose, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when CJ Klose came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Petr Školník came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Luz Tejedor. But to his dismay, Luz Tejedor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Yrigoyen.F.C made a substitution. Jesus Niva replaced Atilano Sotil. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Emanuel Jakes in the 93 minute of the game. 95 minutes into the match, Yrigoyen.F.C's Diego Milito sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Noboa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 96th minute, Rafael Gallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
