Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Adriano Rondinelli took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Tivoli's Anfilogino Papetti got a free kick in the 5th minute. Ildephonso Toledano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 6th minute of the match. A collision led to Tivoli getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Ennio Causio hit a great ball. After 20 minutes, Luis Andino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the Tivoli players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luis Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Felix Montenegro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ildephonso Toledano was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adriano Rondinelli in the 31st minute of the match. After 42 minutes, Felix Montenegro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the Tivoli players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Tivoli booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Franco Toledano in the 44th minute. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adriano Rondinelli in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 61 minutes into the match, Tivoli's goalkeeper Ildephonso Toledano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Tivoli's Ildephonso Toledano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Tivoli from getting a goal against them. Felix Montenegro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ildephonso Toledano firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 69th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Tivoli's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ildephonso Toledano quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Primitivo Andino during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Primitivo Andino hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Alberigo Cavaliere came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Franco Toledano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute, Daniel Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Adriano Rondinelli came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Tivoli fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adriano Rondinelli couldn't finish the play. Ecuador were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Tivoli to leave the ground with a draw.
